Built for UK adult social care

Your carers look after people.
Who's looking after them?

Most carers leave because no one asked where they wanted to go. East Care gives every carer a personalised development plan, and shows managers exactly who needs their attention.

The problem

The sector has a people crisis.
And it's getting worse.

Adult social care is losing staff faster than it can replace them. Most providers know it. Few have a system to do anything about it.

29.7%
Average staff turnover
Nearly 1 in 3 care staff leave every year. That's experienced people walking out the door, along with everything they know about the people they care for.
£3bn
Spent replacing leavers annually
The sector spends £3 billion a year on recruitment and onboarding, with no guarantee staff will stay.
1 in 2
New starters with no prior experience
Half the workforce is brand new to care. Without a proper development structure, they're left to figure it out on their own.

A 100-person provider spends an estimated £180,000 a year replacing leavers. East Care tackles the reason most people actually leave: no one helped them develop.

You get an hour with the data

We walk you through your team overview: who needs support, where the gaps are, and what to do about it. After that, East Care ticks along in the background. You check in when you need to.

📊 One hour. You'll know where you stand.
What our users say

Straight from the managers using it.

Some of our staff we've had working with us for 20 years and you get a bit complacent with their development. The new ones we don't know at all. This gave us both.

It takes out the assumptions and personal views and gets you focused on the data. That's what good management looks like.

This is real insight. I finally know which staff need my support, instead of finding out when they hand in their notice.

Who we are

Built by people who know the sector

We started East Care because care work is one of the most skilled, undervalued professions in the country. Between us we've spent over 20 years working with health and social care organisations, and we kept seeing the same problem: good people leaving because no one invested in them.
